I'm new to this, so I apologize in advance if I do this wrong.

I did a hijackThis log and I attached it below.

I really don't know what I'm doing so what should I do from here.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Alright, I went through the Malware Removal Guide, but I am still having problems running my computer in normal mode. I attached the logs that I got from going through the Malware Removal Guide. Where do I go from here?

    Thanks again for the help

How do I get this Malware off my computer?

Alright, I ran through the Malware Removal Guide and I am still having problems running my computer in normal mode. I attached what I think are the requested logs and could use some help in what to do next.

    Thanks again for the help

You didn't attach anything ....save the logs to your desktop and then attach them. That should be the easiest way to do it.

They were in another thread Tim which I just merged in but the logs are incomplete.

You need logs from AVG Antispyware and the C:\MGlogs.zip file. runkeys.txt should not be attached.

Note: The below form ComboFix is suspicious:

I'm not seeing anything overly suspicious ...could you tell me what problems you are having, please.

    Use add/remove programs to uninstall:
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03"
    Java(TM) 6 Update 2
    Viewpoint Media Player
    Search Assist

    Reboot and install:
    Java Runtime 6

Now please use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Jamie\Application Data\Viewpoint
    C:\Documents and Settings\Jamie\My Documents\hijackthis1

Sorry I haven't got back to you in a while. The problems I'm having is running my computer in normal mode, it is running too slow to be used. I don't know if there is anything else you can recommend me doing, but I'll try anything.

    Thanks

In normal mode....tell me what the items that Chas pointed out from the scheduled tasks folder are.
Then go to start / run / msconfig and tell me what is in the last tab ---> your startup items.
