I'm Vishal Gupta. I'm new member here so thought of introducing myself.

I used to visit Major Geeks lots of time but never knew that it also has a dedicated discussion forum. (yeah its strange. )

So today I decided to register here and now I'm a proud member here.

click on quick links at the top of the page. then go to edit options. look in
Thread Display Options. i think you can change it there:major

From previous discussions I believe that most people have it set to
'Linear- oldest first'

not quite sure why since email replies are normally newest first as is the MajorGeeks chatbox.

Ah thanks. I changed it from UserCP. Now its perfect.

 

I wanted to post my tutorials in "Guides and Frequently Asked Questions" section but there is no "New Thread" button. Is it disabled for members?

Where should I post my tutorials? I didnt find any suitable section for them.

 

It is 'disabled' for members, which is a very good idea as it ensures that the guides are factual and makes it easy to find the guide you are after.

Your best bet would be to contact the site owners directly via one of the addresses to be found here:
