Have a surgery date

Hard to believe after only a year and a half rolleyes It's Wed, in LA, Cedars Sinai where the elite go to die I think the worst part is the drive there (so far at least) Have mixed emotions, have been some what of an invalid for the past ten years, hoping I will be able to go outside afterward, maybe travel somewhere. By the way it is Lung Reduction Surgery, smoked for 40 years, it's a really miserable illness to have, emphysema.

Just as well you'll be under for the op otherwise with your sense of humour you'll give them problems trying to remain steady while laughing.

Darlene, as already said, here's to a most successful operation, a speedy recovery, and then an absence of your presence in the Lounge because you're busy enjoying a new lease on life with long wished for and well deserved travels. (My door is open if you're Down Under...just follow the cooking smells).

I’ve only been on the web site for 2 months, but in the short time it has been a great time with lots of laughs. You shouldn’t have to worry too much with today’s technology. It would be a shame if this world didn’t have wonderful people like you to lift spirits & bring joy to others. All the best with the op. & a speedy recovery. God bless

I be ok . Getting over some problems but it's not about me its about you at the moment. Are you excited about being able to do more after surgery than before? I would be for sure. I spoke with Uncle G and he will check in on you to see that everything goes very well. Believe in the happiness you are going to be bringing back when you return. It's been a long time comming and its finally here so be good ,be safe and above all be happy.

I have a date for my hip replacement can you believe i have to go into hospital at 17.30 on Christmas day and the op is the following morning.
