I have windows XP service pack 2 by toshiba.

when i first got it, whenever i went on the internet, weird folders containing weird files with names like: 01ea1cdebe8f001856ff would appear on my C: drive.

i always delete them and after a while, they stopped showing up.
but, i have this one folder that i cant view nor delete because it would say "access denied". the name is: db0c8b207d696b3e5d289e15

can you please help me with this?
    thanks.

Is viewing of protected system files enabled?
What browser are you using? Are these folders located on the root of your C: drive?

Very well may be in use. In which case, you should be able to delete from Safe Mode, or Recovery Console.
