I keep getting pop-ups so I decided to run Ad-Aware SE but it could not remove win32 trojandownloader.zblob and would cause my computer to crash so I decided to download Ad-Aware 2007 and it is running right now. From what I have read online this doesn't seem very simple to remove. I seek further assistance. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Ad-Aware 2007 is not going to help you with this infection and it will slow your system down a bunch compared to Ad-Aware SE. Ad-Aware 2007 offers no active protection (in the free version) but installs a service that is always running and it wastes system resources. That scanner is not effective enough to allow it to be installed and waste the resources. Stick with Ad-Aware SE ( while it gets updates ) as a backup scanner.

When I ran SE earlier it diagnosed it as win32 trojandownloader.zblob, but when I ran 2007 it identified it as PurityScan and I went through the steps of removing it from the internet and 2007 no longer detects anything but I am still receiving random popups. What should my next step be?

    ugh

Most of the files are hosted of this website but my infected computer cannot access this website specifically for some reason. so I got all but one of the four things (from the internet) I need to download and install. When I tried installing SB S&D it causes my computer to shut down.

    I'm considering reformatting...

Try running the below first. This should help you get access here and also to other sites that are also blocked.
