A Glass of a Good Merlot Please?

Good Morning! Before I even start to read the Malware Guide that a MG advised, I really need some encouragement that I'm not losing my mind and that there are REAL people onboard. My PC is not running slow, but it will -- and soon -- so I'm determined to have a cup or two of coffee and see if anyone wants to chat. Of course, I'm a newbie, though not in age. rolleyes So what do ya all do here in the lounge? Cate in Indiana

The Lounge, as you no doubt gathered, is a bit more informal than the other forums. We just basically catch up with each other and generally goof off.

Merlot... It starts out so well, nice smell, good taste, then it just dies. No finish. I lean towards the Cabs, Cab blends, Syrahs, and Zinfandels. If I had to pick a Merlot, I guess a Chateau Cadillac would work.

I (was) enjoying a bottle of Jacob's Creek Merlot. A nice drop from South Australia. I'll have to send you over some of the local Merlot, so you can try it out for yourself one of these days, 'H'.

Re: Cabernet Sauvignon:- Yep, not too bad, either. Get's a bit 'heavy' for my palette after a while.
