help! What is 1sasse.exe??

I ran my hijack this.

I seem to have this attatched with a win32 process.

the exact process= C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe

will this harm me. i can't get it off:cry

 

If this is spelled with an L at the beginning, it's a legitimate program and you should not try to get rid of it. If it's spelled with an I (eye), you may look for malware on your computer.

the file process seems to begin with a 1(one) not i or L

 

If you copied it with your mouse, then it is an l (el) not a 1 (one)
If you typed it in, then you typed it in as an l (el) not a 1 (one)

What makes you think it's a bad file? Is your computer having problems?

I looked it up. and it said i was a possible trojan. Im not good at this kinna stuff. if u google 1sasse. exe.
the problem im having is low system resources. something running in the back ground. I don't really do a lot. play poker, pay bills, messanger.. 512 should be enough for what i do i've been told

Maybe your computer is infected. If so, it would help you to work through the READ & RUN ME FIRST taking care to note which ones apply to your operating system. When you finish, post the requested logs and we can tell you if your computer is infected or not.
