    Hi,

I ran a-squared detection software, and it came up with the Win32.Agent.bkw trojan.

When I quarantined it, a message window popped up to say something about windows will not function properly, please insert disk.

I had to do a system restore to enable my computer. I ran another a-squared scan and the same thing happened.

Anyone know how to get rid of this trojan (Win32.Agent.bkw).

    Thanks.

You need to attach the log requested in the READ ME from running MGtools.exe. This file is C:\MGlogs.zip. The procedure did not ask you to attach the hijackthis.log file from the C:\MGtools folder.

Where exactly is A-squared reporting this malware? Is is in C:\System Volume Information ?

If you attach a log showing what A-squared is finding and also the MGlogs.zip file requested in the READ ME, we will be able to help you solve your problem.
