    Good Morning,

    well::: i have installed a fresh windows in my friends PC which has following configuration :::

    Processor Intel Pentium III
    733MHz, 240 Mo de RAM

    Microsoft Windows XP
    Professional
    Version 2002
    Service Pack 2

    Now the problem is that it works with 24-bit but only at the resolution of 800 x 600 ::: if i try to increase the resolution, it becomes 16-bit and the videos or films do not work ::: and at 24-bit with 800 x 600, the image quality is also not very fine ::: Also, in the system management (of materials), it shows the question mark with 2 things and problem sign with these 2 + 1 other material (image attached:: but i changed the color scheme otherwise i was not able to attach the file:: it had a large size) ::: well ::: i dont know how i can find and install the required driver::: i have already installed Everst Home Edition ::: but i dont know how i should make it work to understand and install the driver::::

    thanks for your time:::

    honestly i have no idea ive never used everst my self so i wouldnt know how to work it
    i tried seeing if you would be able to find out in the device manager but i realized your computer is most likely using a generic driver ? i asume but i can be sure from the info you provided if you can think of anything else let me know and ill see if i can think of anything that might help you

    In your screen shot, you have a USB issue (not a huge issue right now), a modem issue (the PCI communication device; also not real important), and some video issues. I see you have two video devices listed; one is the onboard video (probably the S3Virge), and the other is an NVidia TNT2; this is probably the video card. To be sure, run Everest. Everest is very easy to use. Click on Devices, then click on Physical Devices (circled in red and blue in the screenshot below). This will give you a list of all the hardware installed. You are primarily looking for video or display hardware. You may also want to click on Motherboard and then click on Chipset to find out which video adapter is actually the on board video if clicking on Physical Devices doesn't help. This is circled in green and purple in the 2nd screenshot. Also, the items circled in yellow and light blue are of interest also. Post this information and we will go from there.
