That's the American actor Matthew McConaughey with Kate Hudson. Sydneysiders loved his visit to our town...and it was a pleasant surprise during an interview to find out he attended my university as an exchange student (now, where the heck was I then!!LOL)

Used to be called St. Columban by the Irish and Polish that settled here oh so long ago. Sorry for the French but I don't want to pay extra taxes just for a translator! I have a 'yearbook' and Iwill scan some of the more interesting pics in. Check out the album photos, they're quite picturesque.:) http://www.st-colomban.qc.ca/accueil06.html

    BTW Bazza, great thread!

Keep trying to think up something different. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. :D :cry

Check out my thread at http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=150425 and more particularly in #1 there for Russia's most famous - and glamorous - female bodyguard killed as her Porsche is carjacked in Moscow at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1811 link.

My note: Pictures of her and her Porsche. WOW !! Bazza

Damn, link no longer is listed for her. Will google it. Baz

We can take a cheap tour of the MG members cities and towns all over the world.

    Keep them coming.

It is interesting to put a town/city to those MG members who just say USA, or UK, or wherever, as to where they live. Bazza

Bazza you should put a disclaimer on that link :D Ok, I'm new here and recently hooked on your freecell game in the arcade. It's neat that there are so many international folks here...and AU is so beautiful! Here is a link for Long Island which is a 30 min. train ride from New York City and where I live in Nassau County on the south shore. The Hamptons are about a 2 1/2 hour drive from NYC and Montauk is the very end.

Cat_w_9_lives, hot, wet and steamy here at the moment. :(

December and January (and now Feb,) are usually our hottest and wettest as the monsoon season sets in. We only have 2 seasons, the WET and the DRY.

But Cairnsites say " Beautiful one day, perfect the next".

I don't own any cold weather gear, don't own an umbrella ( most times we just wait 10-15 minutes for the rain to stop).

Nearly all year around we sleep on just one sheet. Occasionally in Winter ( approx 2 weeks in July :D ) we have to search for a blanket that we put away last year.

I don't think I'll move anywhere else permanently. Bazza
