Who watched the game and did your team win? Was it all food and drink and a party atmosphere or just quiet with 'do not disturb' sign on the door LOL

AWWW my head hurts... Went to a friends house, and partied too much. We have a tradition, we get a football, and everyone writes their score predictions. The person who is closest to the final score gets the ball as a 'trophy'. I won! Got 3 of them now :cool

One of our friends brought a huge TV, 50" or something. He gave it to my friend! And I now have a 27" Sony Wega Trinitron! Just wish my head felt better. And my back after moving that dang TV in by myself...

Nope, didn't watch but two plays; Brady getting sacked in the second quarter and the winning touchdown pass near the end.
It didn't matter to me one way or the other, except maybe that the NFC won.
(I watched a "Law And Order: Criminal Intent" marathon instead.)

I watched entire game with friends for a birthday party for stepson.
I was only one there (out of 18) who was for Giants.
Loved to see the underdog Giants play so tough and win in the last minute.

    Awesome.

Funnily enough I didn't watch it. You Americans amuse me with your assumptions that everyone reading is a fellow countryman/woman rolleyes

FYI (hate that expression, but it fits nicely) The internet went global quite a while back - you probably missed it when the superbowl was on :p

    PS
I didn't watch the World series baseball where only American teams enter either ;)

    My work is done here

There are similar threads here when the soccer (or football) matches are going on in your country; most Americans don't care.

Thanks for the update on the internet; I was beginning to wonder when they would franchise it. :D

By the way, the losing team was the "New England" Patriots, not the "England" Patriots, so all is well.;)

Yeah Scottish did I read somewhere - that's even worse :p

Don't mind me, I'm just messing with your heads;) when we should both be stopping Lianne getting so many high scores :D

I'm gonna cheat and let my 10 year old daughter play for me rolleyes

    Kangaroos aren't American? :cry
Yes, the team I wanted to win did. It was actually a very good defensive, offensive game. I was surprised as the Super? Bowl has been such a let down in recent years. And no I'm not actually a fan of football anymore.
Fran Tarkenton, where are you? ;)

    @ gal1998
Fran Tarkenton and Dan Fouts of the Chargers were my two favorite quarterbacks. And yes, even though we have the Lions (spelled l-o-s-e-r-s) here, I was always a VIKING fan.

Managed to see enough of the contest to know that Brady ate a lot of turf and the Giants defense was on fire. Good win for me since I hate the "tuck rule" Pat's. As for kangaroo farming, I was not aware they were being used for meat already.:D
