Ooh ya @Alvin Lee and TYA. Many folk just remember 'I'm Going Home' by them which is really sad, he could be so tasteful and electric at the same time. Just lovely MK.

BTW Dr. M, I'm a hard jazz freak along with blues! Go figure? Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman etc. etc. etc. I thought of including jazz here when I made the thread but there's not too many folk that know it so I thought it best to just stay with the 'Blues'. Man, tons of stuff out there as you can see how fast this thread has gone. Thanks muskie, for giving me the kick in the butt to start this.

Santana never seems to get very high on the guitar greats lists, but he is so darn good!. I remember years ago after his earlier albums, he studied chord progression and music theory. He was a great before that and amazing after.
