Windows Vista application compatibility

    Yes I know that this has been a main point of contention with many adopters of Vista within its first year, and many issues have come from what applications users knew worked with Windows XP and thought they would with Vista, in some cases and mainly security applications this was not the case, until the developers of those applications updated their software to take into consideration the the new security and more locked down code of Vista.



    Here is a nice Microsoft site that lists software and their compatibility with Vista, this also is community driven so if you have an application that works fine with Vista and is not listed then submit it as it will help others in the tech community.

    yes plus also add that in that link of yours that those or the majority of them have "A supported version is now available" which is why we should update our apps.
