Need for Speed

hello people im a newbie i need help with my dvd burner i dont have anything special i just use what came with the computer i have vista home premium that comes with the windwos dvd maker it burns the the things i need it just takes for ever is there anyway i can make it faster all burns are 90 to 150 minutes please help if there is anything i can do thank you

Actually, that seems like a very long period. When my wife copies a DVD (4.7GB) for the grandkids and burns it through Nero, it takes less than 10 minutes, usually closer to 5.

About the burn speed, you don't want to burn at too high a speed either. (8x to 10x is a good speed)

 

Hello PICCOLO, are you rendering video to burn or copying? because as musksnipe says that seems like a long time. Rendering does take a while depending on your setup.
