How things have changed,being a smoker i can not criticize or that would be hypocracy.

 

I remember as a little girl giving my grandfather a carton of Chesterfield cigarettes for christmas, was so proud

 

It really is/was criminal what was advertised about cigarettes at that time. Lots of our grans and grandpas would not have died such hideous deaths if the truth about smoking had been better publicised then. (Even up to the '70's) Bazza

 

Came in my email this morning, went back and forth about posting it. I can forward it to you.

 

That one is from the 60's or 70's. There used to be a commercial about Tiparillo (little cigars) saying would you offer a lady a Tiparillo, trying to pull in the females into cigars. Think it worked too

 

Told me I had emphysema in the 90's and I still smoked (not for long though) but talk addiction, whew!

There are some of my favourite re-runs (eg I Love Lucy) and quite a few icons and legends like Marilyn Monro, the Beatles, those great Hollywood stars (Marx Bros, John Wayne, Abbott & Costello, etc), and yeah, like Darlene said, a young Eastwood! :cool

There are quite a few cars I've seen at some classic vintage car shows too.
