"Killer Tomatoes" ripe for remake

Killer Clowns from Outer Space was waaaayyyy better. LOL

 

I remember "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" - It was on the evening I got home from the hospital after the birth of my first son.

It was a Saturday in Jan 1985, around 20:00 as I recall. I had been up for over 36 hours, and I don't recall much about the movie. I fell asleep watching it about midway, sitting up in the chair.

Man, do I feel old . . .

 

Hey, what about The Day of the Triffids since we're all bringing up B movies.LOL

 

My mother owns the DVD to Killer Clowns. She just loves that movie. Dunno why. (yeah right!)

 

I actually remember watching the TV series of that when I was younger. I can't remember if it was British made or not since it was around the 80s I saw it. I think it scared me to pieces, but I don't remember much of the story anymore other than it was like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Or something like that.

 

Killer tomatoes was so ridiculous is what made it funny.

 

Hollywood been running low in the ideas department for quite a while now,everything seems to have been done before and and they have no problem re writing all our favorite characters history with prequels that have no continuity with the original movies.
