Stupid question of the day : Garage Door Openers

    As if I need another freaking thing to go out at my house.

    Currently have an OLD genie screw drive system to open the door. Would like to replace it with one of these fancy chamberlain whisper quiet systems. Is it easy enough for one man to change out an existing scewdrive system with a brand new belt system and opener? Or just call a company to install one?

    I've installed mine, it really is a two man job. Someone has to hold the hardware while it is being screwed in. A pack of beer is cheaper than a company though.
