I have posted in their forums but I'm sorry to say that customer support at bsplayer space is mannaged by <edited by Administrator> You boys at major geeks are a better idea.

    The Goal:
Need a solution to play QT MOV files in BSPlayer 2.27

I've done that before but i removed my old K-lite pack and old BSPlayer and i can't get to do it with the new ones now...

Now as to why im using BSPlayer. I have used VLC but its lack of commerce pursuit leaves it to be a quite a good feat of programming with a poor set of front end, less convenience and overall a not so friendly interface.
+ The fact that BS handles subtitles good.

Now after i removed my K-lite and old BS i got the new 2.27 Build 959 to be exact. Then for some unknown reason i installed Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2008-01-24
    And also QT Lite...
And as i read on it the CCCP pack had nothing to do with QT solutions.
I tried the QuickTime, Quick Time Alternative and QT Lite...

Its seems either i'm doing something wrong or the lame heads at BSPlayer forgot to mention an important detail since i still get "unknown file format" error when i try to run MOV. And the fancy faq in BS site said
"Can BSplayer run any media? - Yes no problem you just got to put some extra codecs as easy as 1+2=3"

I did NOT have problems with the old K-Lite pack but i figured i gotta learn to use separate codecs as i got convinced that you dont need more than 6-8 of them the run pretty much all the popular format media floating around and what you don't need is that big hunk of codec pacs. I actualy got rid of the K-lite so i can get Quick Time Alternative for my Firefox.

Just for no special reason i confirmed with GSpot that the files i'm trying to play are encoded with Apple's PNG ...

There is a free package of bsplayer for those who dont have it but are willing to try ...

Anyways i'm opened to advice and suggestions about Players or Codecs or player/codec combos ...

Curretly i'm following the idea that all i need is to setup BS get

    Divx Create
    Ac3 Filter
    DivXAF
    QuickTime Alternative
    VobSub
    Xvid

And ill be set to roll anything but MKV through the Bsplayer.
