Not too sure if it's kavo

I have no logs to post because the infection is part of our college computers. We were informed a while back that the whole college network was infected with kavo. Our CS Professor made a program to delete known files that were associated with it because students kept infecting the network again with their flashdrives.

But I just noticed now, on my work computer while going through my flash, I had executible files mocking the names of existing folders. I was doing work and clicked one thinking it was legit and a popup on our anti-virus came up listing "V.WOM.Brontok-F". My friend told me it was another form of kavo, so i'm not sure. I know our work file-server was infected with a virus that made mock file names of existing files in executable format. I'm not sure if that's what I have on flash and if I got rid of it. All I did was delete all the executables on my flash and the killkavo program my professor made said I was clean of kavo.

Thank you in advance for the help

My question is if I deleted the executables that were on my flash and ran scans on it (Windows Malware and Norton) then it should be clean right?

I'm unsure whether doing the R&R will help my situation since I work at an Internet Cafe, I cant do much to the server computer because it's policy, I can only do the R&R from one of the client computers. My boss is aware of the virus and said he will handle it, my man concern is just being that if I use my flash again that I won't infect anything.

    Thank you again

Not necessarily. Sorry to say that they miss many files related to malware. You may still have infections in an autorun.inf or autorun.exe file too.
