I hate needles especially when the nurse wants to take blood. She laughs at me as I always try to come up with 'excuses' to get out of it LOL

    Heights.

We went to Belize and my family and I went ziplining about 80 feet up through the jungles. I was pretty proud of my self for doing that. Of course, not once did I look down. LOL

Other than that, I don't think so.

I'm not sure but I think I have claustrophobia. I didn't have any experience but when I imagine myself, for example, in a small cave o grotto somewhere deep inside i feel not very good.. :D
My friend has a crowd-fobia. He can't visit any big concerts..
I remember when I was 12 there was a huge holiday in Moscow (850-year birthday of the city) and there were many people on the streets. When we went inside the pedestrian subway there were so many people that there was a panic and people started to run over each other! As I was very small I really felt fear.. rolleyes

Guess heights would be the closest - not really a phobia, just a shocking sense of balance :)

You get used to the spiders after a while here.
We are actually considering making ethanol out of them as an alternative fuel source
There is even talk of raising them on Corn for that extra boost rolleyes :p :D

i remember when we were in OZ and they said check under the seat before you sit down, for the REDBACK spider they told us that it was not deadly but wherever it bit you would be really painful and swell up a lot, so if you were bit on that ever so important part of the mans anatomy you go to the doctors ans ask if he will take away the pain and leave the swelling:D

I DO NOT DO HEIGHTS anymore. :D Don't know what happened, I use to hang out of a small plane taking pictures... Now anything over 8' or so, I can't deal with. Can't handle watching video from planes on the TV!

And snakes. The only good snake is a dead one! And no, I have not seen Snakes on a Plane.... ;)

I don't really have any phobias, but my wife surprised me on a vacation trip a few years ago. We went to the UP of Michigan and stopped to take some video of the Mackinaw Bridge.
We found a great vantage point, I thought. It was a lighthouse-like structure, about 6 stories tall.
We climbed the inside steps and got out on a walkway at the top that was about 3 feet wide, with a good railing
I started taking video right away. I was leaning against the rail shooting the bridge and the scenery below. I was talking to my wife the whole time but hadn't really looked at her because the view was great!.
When I realized that she really wasn't saying anything, I turned around to see what she was doing. She was backed right up to the wall and nearly holding on to it.
That was the day I found out she was afraid of heights. LOL
This was our next stop. Needless to say, she didn't cross the narrow bridge or get out of the woods to see the view. roflmao
(This was the best picture I could find on the web. It's not mine.)

This has always been something I can laugh about, as I have claustrophobia (mildly) that includes something to do with being in large crowds also. I think that it is a more a fear of not being in control of your environment or some such. I don't let it slow me down much, as I still use the lift/elevator and I am also certified for confined space rescue. Funny thing is that when I was doing the training and the few time s I have actually had to put it to use, it never fazed me. Now drop me in a creaky elevator with bad lighting and poor air circulation... I want to just out of my skin. Dunno...

My issues are more in the realm of borderline obsessive compulsive resulting from the BiPolar... *grin* makes me the carachter I am today :)

I hate marks on brand new electrical equipment. This seems to be an ever increasing problem these days. I use to take marked stuff back to the shops, and buy the same product from a different branch. I'm finding that increasingly difficult nowadays due to the way they seal their products.
And yes it is a phobia, considering how small the marks have to be.:zzz
I was thinking of making the marks worse and claiming a refund or exchange. Has anyone got a better idea?
