Bridgend, Wales - Teenage suicides

A teenager committed suspected suicide in a small town in Wales . He is the 19th person aged under 27 to be found hanged in the Bridgend area since the start of last year.

There were a bunch of suicides in the Long Beach area around 1995, Dan and I moved there for a while when he worked on the World Port.
Kids jumping off cliffs, every month seems like. Never heard if they ever found out why.

 

It a tough age to be in. We see a surely teen and don't see the pain causing it, IMO. You just have to be there for them when they need you, if you're lucky.

 

Man I would have killed to be in Long Beach in the mid 90's. Sublime came out of there, but the lead singer was dead in May 1996.. I doubt it's related to the suicides though. 1994 was Kurt Cobain I think, in Seattle..

 

Don't believe it was related, these were high school kids and apparently there were a lot more before we arrived there.
With Cobain, it was probably the drugs, even though there is no over dose it changes peoples moods, anger, depression, bad news.
