Hey everybody, I'm just curious as to where I could find all the drivers for my HP Pavilion a6200n desktop. I checked the stickies already and the websites' programs listed there you have to pay for to actually download the drivers-which is something i can't do.

So, yeah..I need to find some XP drivers so I can switch from Vista to XP for a bit.

I think i have the right chipset driver: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html

But, where can i find all the rest of the drivers i need? Actually, what other drivers do I need at all? HP's website only has the drivers for Vista.. Here are the full specs to my comp: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...1591&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

    Audio http://www.majorgeeks.com/Realtek_High_Definition_Audio_for_2KXP03_d4902.html
    Chipset/LAN http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html
Graphics http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html (use this if the above driver doesn't include video)
The audio may require the infamous UAA driver. Download links can be found through-out this forum in other threads. I'm having a tough time finding the network driver as it seems that it is somehow integrated into the chipset even though the chipset is NVidia and the LAN is RealTek. But I'll keep looking. Hopefully, someone else will come along with a link for you....
These should at least get you started. Good luck!

Apparently, these networks drivers might work: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...L)+/RTL8139D(L)/RTL8100(L)/RTL8130/RTL8139B(L)
I found a motherboard made by GigaByte that has the same LAN chip integrated into the NVidia chipset. Here's the download link: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_DownloadFile.aspx?FileType=Driver&FileID=3363
Download the driver. DO NOT run the .exe file!!! Use TUGzip or 7zip or WinRAR (I used TUGzip without issues) to extract the file. In the resulting folder you'll have a bunch of files and other folders, one will be called 'Ethernet'. Install the LAN driver through the device manager/hardware wizard and 'point' it to this folder after clicking 'Have Disk'. It should work. If you don't already have a quality 'zip' file utility, try TUGzip; it's fast, and works with everything. Just be sure to click 'Select All' during install to get full archival support.

    Good luck!

Thanks! I'm really excited to see how well my machine will work on XP vs Vista. I feel sort of stupid that I made a thread that was also my first post lmao.
