My Mother's Day Greeting

I received a card from #1 daughter today. It's a musical card, plays (I got the power) the front reads, I know no fear. I've had kids. Inside she put my favorite reminders of each of the four.

awww darlene how adorable! I did something like that for my mom's birthday (it was in March), heck I dont know what Im gonna do for mothers dayLOL

Just thought of something funny. My youngest daughter (30 something) a while back made me one of those plaster hand prints like you did in kindergarten, on the back put her name and like 420 months old, thought it was cute.

Oh Brad she sounds like fun, reminds me of my ex mother in law. She will love the flower bed, you are so thoughtful to do that. What a guy

 

Thats a pretty plant. I have no advise on flowers, as I said before I just arranged them can't grow them. I do have a little rose bush my daughter gave me one year and it is still blooming each year, knock wood! She sent me a gardenia plant last year, have managed not to kill it but no flowers yet. I need to ask you for advise.

Hoping y'all are having/had a great Mother's Day, and spoilt your Moms. Mine's been gone 45 years, (I was very young), but I still had a good day.

Not at all morbid. I have such guilt about my mother it kills me. Ever since I can remember she told me she didn't want to be cremated. When she passed a few years ago I figured I could handle the cost until I heard what it was and that was with no funeral. So she was cremated, I still have the urn in my living room. I thought I could make up for the deed by having her ashes scattered in Hawaii, where she was born but never got the chance to go back. My kids and grandkids were going to Hawaii all the time until I needed someone to take her. For one reason or another all the trips came to a halt.
