Added ram (from 2gb to 4gb) in (XP) laptop but FRP seems to be showing 100% free ram based on the original 2gb of ram.
Cant figure out how to 're-calibrate' (or whatever needs to happen) FRP.
'yourwaresolutions' at http://www.yourwaresolutions.com doesnt appear to have support email (thought they did at one time... and they ask for donations ...which I did some time ago and would consider again, but without support ? ).
The FRP program has worked fine over the years (ie no apparent problems).
    're-calibrate' ideas ?

What RAM free number does it show in the box down beside where the time appears, bottom right of screen. With 4 gigs of RAM installed, it should show somewhere between 3000 and 3500 megs free at bootup. What happens when you double click the box? Bazza

    Thanks for the reply.
XP System Properties shows 3.5gb ram installed and the XP Task Manager shows 3.68gb, not sure where the other -0.32 goes but I understand that some of it gets used by the OS etc.
The systray FRP icon shows 100 (%) and 2047 (mb) when changed to # of mb display.
Dbl clicking on the systray FRP icon gets me the FRP dialog window for settings etc.
The FRP dialog wdo also shows '2.41 free / 2.41 installed'.
Maybe need to reinstall FRP ?

32 bit XP can't use the full 4GB so you will never see it reported.

Yup. You can only address 4GB in total, so you will only see 4GB of system RAM MINUS the sum of audio and video RAM in the system.
