SCAM or OK? Would like a 2nd opinion.

OK I have never asked this on here before. I have done lots of selling and buying using Pay Pal in the last 3 years with no problem so far, including sending items to unconfirmed addresses.
Just received payment for a PDA I sold via Pay Pal. The buyer and I have been sending multiple emails back and forth with a variety of questions related to the PDA. Sold the PDA on a specialty forum.
I could be just being paranoid because of so many scam attempts on eBay lately.
So, the unusual part about this is when I looked up details on my Pay Pal account, the money was sent by the person with the same first and last name he has been using in email, but the address the PDA is being requested to be shipped to is different than the confirmed address.
What do you think?:confused

 

I'd definately call him on it. If he is legit he can update his confirmed address, if he's not he'll give you a run around.

 

I'd ship it to the paypal address- it could be a stolen account. If it is legit, it will find its way to the right place.

 

Not necessarily, if he's moved for example. People have a habit of keeping things delivered to them. Like I said, I'd email him about it. If he is evasive I'd tag it with PayPal as a query.

I've had stuff mailed to different addresses before, as gift items. I also made sure the seller knew why in advance though.

 

Good advice. I have emailed buyer last night and he explained it well enough that I think this is fine.
