How do I add a banner pic in the MGSpace

I uploaded a jpg pic to the album, C&P'd the addy and entered it in the proper field(I think) in the customization page but I get an invalid url error. Can someone please explain the proper procedure to follow as the error doesn't guide me to a resolution of the issue. It basically says diddly squat. Here's an example of what I mean from LauraR's page. Thanks all.

 

ahh, thanks Laura. I used the second link with the image tags. Hehe, right now all one sees is pine treetops. I have some work to do in Paint, though the lake pic was only a test before I start working on a real one. As I don't use these paint programs on a regular basis, this will take a while as I want to stitch a whole bunch of my favourite musician pics into the banner format. Thanks again.

Knew about the friends list, been here for awhile but the spaces thing had not seen (nice space btw) looks like fun.

 

Think since I joined...puts a crosshair on the person when they are logged in. But nobody used it, until lately. Still have not figured out the difference ...seems the same as far as being able to contact via pm, either you have pm on or off.
