svchost.exe...this ok? Thank you.

I went through the RUN AND READ ME tutorial (deleted some crap that was found). I've done the HIJACK THIS tutorial (removed some things that were questionable). I've read through the other posts that ask about svchost.exe and I still haven't found what I need. ;\

I'm still running at almost 100% when I'm just sitting here. I keep thinking maybe it's my svchost.exe that's having the issue. Maybe there's something not legit going on??

I have 4 svchost.exe running under SYSTEM.
1 under LOCAL SERVICE.
2 under NETWORK SERVICE.

Good, bad? Help? :|

Welcome to Major Geeks!

You really should not be removing things on your own without expert advice. What exactly did you remove?

If you are having malware problems, you need to complete all instructions in the READ & RUN ME which includes attaching the logs as requested.

Having multiple svchost.exe processes running is normal.

Thanks. :] I guess I just didn't see anything malicious so did not think to attach logs/bother with it. I'll go through the steps again and save them this time.

It would be better to attach the logs from the first run if you ran everything the first time. As stated in the READ & RUN ME, we do not want you to run it more than once. If you run it twice and only attach the logs after the second run then we will never see what the original problems were.
