I'm confused. What, exactly, was the point of your post?

If it was to proclaim that you're happily married, then I'm happy for you. I'm happily married too, and it's great.

But if it was to proclaim that you are happily GAY married, then... well, let's just say that you kind of need to realize it's not the 90's anymore, and being gay is not a big deal. Since it's not, assuming it's not a big deal isn't a big deal either. Unless of course you live in rural Texas? (Sincere apologies to all intelligent and wise Texans reading my post.) I'm still confused about this thread though. Are you trying to provoke us, annoy us, or just plain "flaunt it"?

 

Me, too. Except maybe not so happily...the new 100-mile difference in where we live kinda puts a damper on "happy" most weeks. We visit.

I was happy and single at one point too. It is great! One of the biggest advantages is that it helps you get to know yourself so well that by the time you get back to dating again, you'll actually know who you are and what it is you want... the English language doesn't have enough words to describe how good for you that is.

 

Thanks mimsy! It really is super not to be dating someone or even liking someone.. your totally free to be you and lets just say I been though some stuff (rolleyes) that lets me see the joy in being single. I have learned alot about myself and Im pretty sure I know what I want and it probably part of the reason why I am still single :-D

edit- I should say thats why I still *choose* to be single.. because just yesterday, a guy selling bootleg dvds offered me 30 dvd's just for my autograph so he could tell everyone that he met me roflmao

 

That's a good reason to stay single. Why settle for anything less than what you deserve?

Mimsy i'm not trying to wind people up, just curiose about other forum users (and bad at spelling).

 

I sometimes feel a little confined in my closet, almost claustrophobic. dyamond , there are days when I envy you very much. Relationships are difficult, I have a constant guilty conscience, I feel like I'm not contributing as much as the poor person I'm living with.

Me, spent most of my life being married and raising kids, the kids are the part that made it all worth it.
