My current OS is: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600). Recently, I ran a program called TuneUp Utilities 2007. It told me my processor was 64 bits, but my OS only uses 32 of that 64, and to upgrade to Vista or Windows XP 64 Bits. Is this an error or should I consider really upgrading?

Nah, don't upgrade unless you really want to and know the ptitfalls. There's many people here running a 64-bit CPU with 32-bit OS's.

What are the benefits of upgrading to say Windows 64 or Vista? I know Vista hasn't been getting too many rave reviews, but I haven't heard much about Windows 64.
