Uninstall FireFox (old version)

I want to un-install an old verision of FF (v1.8.20080.40413) and install FF3.

I have no un-install exe in the FireFox folder. CCleaner, Revo Uninstaller and MS Add/Delete do not show / pickup an un-installer either.

I guess I am left with just deleting the entire Folder and running cleanup programs afterwards. Any better way of doing this. I had enough trouble with Comodo Firewall. I don't want to go through that again.

Help / suggestions required. Bazza

bigbazza, I had FF version 2.0.014 and didn't remove it, just installed the new one over it and it worked out fine. In the past, every time when a new version came out I just installed it over the old versions. It worked every time. Don't know if that would work in your case though.:innocent

Just installed v3 over old version. :cool It works and bypasses the EULA problem I had in the old version. :major Progress at least. Now to use it contact my email site at www.gmx.com
