Try doing it throught Add/remove Windows Components, highlight Accessories and Utilities and click the Details button, then highlight the Games (uncheck it if you just want all the games off your PC) and click the details button again.

Have you tried using an uninstaller like Revo. Did a Google search and apparently, there seems to be loads of problems removing it. Using add/remove in safe mode seems to work ??!~!
    Cheers...

Core system folder with the Xerox & Netmeeting folders, both of which with msngaming will recreate themselves, they are either zero byte or have extremely small size footprint to not be worries over TBH ( been a long running battle from when XP was released these legacy folders ).

But as per Jerkeykings instructions in gaming you deselect the Zone and then click ok 3 times and that should remove that msngamingzone one.

    Hi

Nope no need to as they are no issue and normal folders with no major size to them.

Dont worry about the instructions as if you dont understand we will do our best to assist you, however did you follow Jerkeykings instructions as that show remove the msngaming folder for you, but again the folder will cause you no harm if its left.

If at the point in Add/Remove components you see Zone, MSN Zone then untick it, however re-reading some old notes on XP, you may also have to remove any of the games relating to Internet from the MS Games list.

But as I mentioned the battle to remove these insignificant folders with no real size to cause space issues has gone on since XP was released, some have tried to boot into Safe Mode to delete, used applications like Unlocker to delete or a combination of safe mode and unlocker, some with sucess and some without. Then these files are part of the OS and in being so, will recreate themslves as part of the OSes self fix.
