MG's 'new' way to make hyperlinks.

OK, I've given this a couple of months to get used to it but I must be missing something real basic. Before the change, I would click on the url tool, C&P the URL and then add the text which worked great! Now, I have to wrap everything in tags and be real careful how I do it or else the post looks like :crap. Can someone please enlighten me to an easier way of accomplishing this. I really mean please. :crybaby Thanks.

1. Create text.
2. Highlight it.
3. Hit link tool to insert link, and add URL.


VIOLA!

Works for me anyway, using the wysiwyg interface.

Still, it's extra clicks, the original method was and is the best IMO. Anyways, at least I don't have to wrap HTML codes around the link anymore being a hunt and pecker type of typer.

 

OK I have to ask, wysiwyg interface? Huh *shakes head*

Oh I see now, don't remember seeing that, is it new with upgrade or been there all along? Will have to go check my options. thank you

 

Must be the default, really don't remember there being soooo many options in there but mine is set to wysiwyg... think I would remember that strange name.

 

Some of us prefer the OTHER way.

I can type or [img]faster than I can highlight and click.....
