Selfish people probably tops it for me.

 

I hate people eating with mouths open. I'd walk across a restaurant to tell someone they were bothering me. LOL

It's even common in the not-so-rural areas, thanks to cities expanding. I saw a guy do it at WORK the other day, right in the middle of the arena floor! uke:

Shoot, I forgot to answer the actual poll...Eating with mouth open, definitely. And grinding teeth! My SO grinds his teeth in his sleep...I often smack him so he stops. LOL

 

I feel like a failure now I couldn't find anything:-D Spitting is my least favourite I think its disgusting,I don't think burping is in the same league as spitting on the disgusting scale I think spitting is a 10 and burping is a 0 or 1,I don't think anyone man or woman should feel bad for burping at the dinner table.

I dislike spitting even more when men and dare I say it people I know and my friends show all their teeth and squirt the saliva through a gap in their teeth,some managing to squirt every 50 to 100 yards like they are leaving a trail to find their way home...

 

Selfishness, spitting, honking mucous and most definitely eating with an open mouth! One of my friends is extremely intelligent, has worked in a corporate environment, very sociable esp. with the gals and then he eats like a pig! :confused

As to snoring, that's not ones choice as that's a medical issue, of course extremely annoying, ask the gf, but understandable especially if someone has undiagnosed sleep apnea, which could be life threatening.

 

I picked selfishness too cuz that annoys me most of all! but I absolutely hate when people litter! It annoys me so bad. I will (and have LOL) yelled at perfect strangers who throw trash on the ground when there is a trash can a few feet away.. I mean how lazy can you be! I alway stuff mine in a pocket or something.

I also really dislike people who are loud and obnoxious who think that everyone wants to hear their conversation rolleyes

Noone seems to have any common courtesy anymore.

 

LOL, I had one geezer that did some work on the land and there he was honking right on my front porch!:eek I mean come on man, there's an acre of land out there to honk on.:confused

 

I dislike officious people who cannot be questioned or seem cannot be argued with. Not sure if that is self-centred or selfishness or just power-mad. However, it is people who say, you must fill this form in before you can do anything and it is not open to discussion SIR, or, you must take a mile detour to get to the other side of this obstruction SIR (a parked car with hazard lights flashing). They always seem to reinforce the SIR bit at the end and parrot the same phase irrespective of your questions. :mad

How does one deal with such people?

 

Guess selfish/self-centred people irritate me, and I hate looking someone else’s chewed up meal, especially when I'm trying to eat, myself. ~ Funny how no one’s picked farting, yet.LOL

 

Polls are right at the top of my annoying things, too.
I have to vote, because I know someone is voting wrong and I feel my vote will offset it. LOL

What really drives me crazy are people who eat food in the grocery store while they do their shopping. I’ve seen people open bags of cookies and munch away as they wheel their carts about the store. Oftentimes, parents will give their nagging, naughty children something to shut them up. Now it wouldn’t be so bad if they actually paid for the merchandise they consumed. Too often, they are eating things such as bananas or other items that are sold by weight. Pastries that are in the self service bins are another big temptation. Those items definitely will not be paid for.

The worst example of this behavior is the time I saw a Mom open a sealed package of hotdogs and give one to her child, who was riding in the cart.

I’m sure the store employees are aware this is going on but probably just tolerate a certain amount, for fear of alienating customers. I wonder if some people have a feeling of entitlement. They think they are spending a lot of money and have the right to a few freebies.

Now that I’ve gotten myself “wound up”, I had better stay away from the grocery store today! Could be a real bad case of grocery cart rage!

Oh! One more rant. People who take frozen or cold items out of the freezer and later decide they don't want it, then just discard it anyplace to thaw out and be ruined.

 

I'd have to say hypocrites, followed by people who'll constantly complain about the government but won't hesitate to put their hand in its pocket when they need something. Like I've always told people-if you don't like it here, you are free to leave.

I disagree,complaining about the government is what makes democracy great and keeps check on absolute power and absolute corruption.

If everyone left instead of complaining and fixing what was wrong you'd end up with a dictatorship.

 

I totally agree. I know several people who get everything freely handed to them by the gov'ment (from rent money to health care.. even schooling) and they are the loudest and most often of the complainers.

 

Rude behaviour aside, the most irksome and loathsome are The Prevaricator and The Obfuscator. Occasionally both of these traits may be found in the same person - as in Politicians, Police, Prostitutes and Priests. ( Lawyers are not on the list because they are Professional Liars and telling the truth would hurt their clients. )

Prevaricators tell untruths. Liars tell lies. The subtle difference is that the Prevaricator is an expert liar and uses that skill to take your money, avoid liability, or shirk responsibility.

Obstructionists get in your way, withhold useful information and if the need arises tell lies to foil your plans. However, this can be dealt with. Obfuscators, on the other hand always provide you with the full information that you require. They give you everything - massive tonnage of un-organised data, which is designed to slow you down, confuse you and foil your plans. In the workplace, Obstructionists can get fired. The friggin' Obfuscators are far too clever to be fired.

Prevaricators and Obfuscators; I've known a few. Eventually everybody will.

 

I saw evidence of that not just once but a couple of times! Frozen chips lying beside the toilet paper and frozen pizza amongst the fresh bread :eek

HUGE detriment to my education. Was never even taught OOP in my technical college (thank god I had ambitious high school teachers) because the class resisted the effort it took, and ran us out of time.

Of course, I made it worse by helping those who were struggling.
