I had an operation on my leg. It went well, but it hurts to go anywhere. _ _. Don't you guys feel bad 4 me? I'm kinda loopy from the pain killers. :foolish

 

Yes, feel bad for you, you'll be out and about again before you know it.

Well, having been through an 18 month ordeal on my broken leg (the last was removing the plate and screws) you'll be fine. Keep exercising to keep those muscles toned.

 

sounds painful. i bought a whole bunch of stuff from homestarrunner.com on thursday, but I never got the second confirmation email. weird, right?:confused

 

I dont need an excuse
I just took a shower. it is hard because i gotta duct tape a garbage bag to my loeg and have it sticking out of the shower stall.

 

My first husband was in a cast for a year (due to infection) plus this was the early sixties so showering in the manner became a way of life.

Your post makes no sense other than portraying negativity toward the OP. Care to clarify?

 

I want the OP to get well fast and the only way it to take the medicine and get some rest .
I have been there and I know it sucks and well to get rest and heal is the name of the game .

I also know it sucks...I have had multiple surgeries and often get laid up with my back but I always try to be optomistic and look forward to better days...and of course, pop pills when necessary...LOL

Yeah I loved taking pain pills LOL .
Get some rest my friend and take it very slow till you heal up good . I had knee surgeries and well took it too fast and ended up having 2 more surgeries to fix what I messed UP !

 

ACK! Not me! LOL I hate taking them and won't do it unless I'm to the point where the slightest movement (such as breathing) causes excruciating pain. My Dr.s @ Mayo clinic are impressed with my ability to get through the pain and have at times strongly suggested that I need to take them to stay ahead of the pain so it doesn't get worse. *eek*

hrmmm...I had ham with mayo yesterday for lunch.:-D

I at one time had 7 fractured vertebra along with 6 fractures in my pelvis. Then 2 car accidents later I have 2 inoperable herniated disc ( L4/L5 & L5/S1 ) along with soft tissue damage (muscle & connecting tissues) in all 3 ranges of the spine (cervical, thoracic & lumbar). I have good days & bad days *shrug*....the good days are the ones I focus on. :cool

TO EVERYONE: IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW:
What happened to my foot was my ankle collapsed. They had to put an MDA spacer in my foot. And they had to stretch out my Achillies tendon. OUCH! Later I'll post a pic of my leg.

 

sometimes hearing something worse, can make you feel better about your situation. Her is my 'gift' to you,,

I had just turned 10, fell off a slide, head first on to asphalt,,,
cracked my neck, two black eyes, broken nose and TWO broken arms,,,
came home casts up to my armpits, the old plaster itchy kind,,,
it was SOOOOOOOO nice getting a bath from MY mother at 10 yrs old rolleyes
Know what else was nice? Using the bathroom,,,:eek,, need I say more?

So, enjoy how good you have it, it can always be worse

I finally got out of the house today
It felt great getting some air

 

right on, always feels good to get out when you've been couped up for a while

 

They took off my splint. Now I am in a brace like a was the three months before the operation

Yup. I just wrote about 20 apps, made 5 asp.net sites (which I didn't put online) created a video that describes what Longhorn should have been like, and I installed Vista Transformation Pack 4.0, the old one, because it uses the longhorn sounds and themes.
