For about a week or two ive had this svchost.exe issue that works in together with wuaclt.exe from what iv'e observed. N basically what happens is wuaclt.exe wilds out in my task manager n works to 50k n higher which makes the one svchost pin my cpu to 100% n svchost at around 80-130k. I always need to keep my task manager open to end the wuaclt.exe processes before they have any effect on svchost.exe :cry

Or else my laptop will overheat n shutdown...

Anyhow Im also reached the brink of insanity because i went to get the programs listed to do the proper scans, S&D, SUPERas, Malwarebytes n i can't run SAS or S&D because they themselves pin my cpu @ 100% roughly n my laptop shuts down before i can get into a 40% scan even n get logs... WTF?!?!? This shit is retarded if u ask me....

Im thinking the only thing i can run because it's fairly quick is combofix n MGtools but of course I'm sure get a log from one of those fairly more lenghtier scanning programs would help....

Also do u have a link for AVG 7.5? I don't like the knew n had it installed n ran into issues with it, I wanna get the AVG7.5 version so i can get rid of this avast 4.8

    thanks...

Jesus ok so, I finally managed to run combofix n Mgtools but not with out the dreaded wmiprvse.exe n wuaclt.exe spikin my svchost n shutting down my laptop about 3 minutes after the scans were finished.. jesus!

The only way i can manage is only sometimes if im quick enough but even then i have to close out wuauclt.exe n wmiprvse.exe like 6-7 times before svchost spike cools out.... shit is retarded....

Anyhow i hoope combo n mgtools picked something up.. here you go....

You are not having malware problems. You are having problems with Windows Update ( wuaclt.exe ). You need to post in the Software Forum. One quick bandaid may be to run services.msc and locate the Automatic Update service. The stop it and set to Startup type to Manual.

Start / run / type "services.msc" without quotes...then scroll down to the service..click on it and set it to run type as manual.
