So, we were at the beach....

and had of course taken along a fresh bag of Frito Lays Cheetos to feed the birds. For some odd reason, they prefer Cheetos over everything else we have tried.

Now, in addition to our towels, water, kite, Frisbee & badminton set Chris decided to take something I got him for Christmas a couple years ago....

uhmmm....hover craft + birds both heading toward the Cheetos causes birds to take flight and...I believe all that squawking contains some profanity.

*GASP* What!? I didn't do it! roflmao I was taking the pics. Chris is the torturer. Hell, he wanted to dig a hole to put the hover craft in so it would come flying out at the birds. :eek LOL

 

Boys and their toys huh? LOL My son has a remote hovercraft too...but he's 13

Looks like fun i done that before myself but with a RC 4X4 Hummer and a bunch of chickens it can haul butt and mow over a chicken and its big enough to. Its 11inchs tall and 20inchs long bumper to bumper. Also i can get all the Frito Lays i want because the Frito Lays factory is right down the road

LoL! Sounds like something devious I would do . glad you both got to spend some long overdue holiday time together.

I had a remote control helicopter that was good for chasing seagulls at the beach. Got carried away one day and the helicopter did a crash landing and ditched over the water. Shorted the thing out and it went *poof!, and 'blew up'. Bye, bye, helicopter. Ah well, it was good while it lasted.

 

That's funny as hell! You can't get away with that here, the NY birds have seen everything and it doesnt phase them.

 

Let me at them because i have my ways :-D

 

AS, you know us boys love our toys. That was a cool present. Bet he loved it. The birds -------- hilarious.

 

I have to admit it was hysterical! LOL One of the birds had hesitated before taking off...tried to snatch a cheeto first...and he did! You can't see it as clearly since I reduced the images so much but look again at the 2nd pic.:-D

When we go this coming weekend he wants to take the other toy I got him...a Storm Launcher. This ought to be interesting.......roflmao

When I was a baby I was at the beach a lot. One time, a bird landed on my head, pecked me a good 5-10 times then stole my french fries! Then, a couple years later, in Disney World, a bird :crap 'd on my sholder and in my drink.
That is why I hate birds

 

No way! We're not trying to kill the birds. :eek

 

They will steal food if people have been feeding them. It's a learned trait. Like in the pic below that shows what happened to our cheetos after we took a break from feeding the birds.:-D

I could never hate birds....they really are such beautiful creatures and do a lot to keep other species controlled...such as bugs. *shudder*
