Just got back from Bushnell, checked my email (I was away from the computer for nearly a month - still not sure how I survived!) and got Renate's message. How's everybody doing?

Yep, today is Eric's birthday. Can you believe it? He's 40!

Cornerstone was great. A reunion with old friends and met a lot of really great new people as well. The kids are getting huge. We got a trampoline free from Craig's list and between that, the pool and the new tree house we're working on, the kids were plenty entertained. Didn't catch too many bands. The Crossing, Psalters, Seabird, Skillet, MeWithoutYou, Blaster the Rocketman. Got to see Brian "Head" Welch from Korn speak too. Seemed like a nice guy.

Latest news besides that, I was an extra in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. They were filming in Chicago in June and I got to be in the Ballroom scene and the coat check scene. It was really fun. Seriously long hours and they gave me a lousy haircut, but definitely a once in a lifetime experience, so it was worth it. It will be coming out next July, so check it out and look for me! It will be the scene where Johnny Depp dances with the girl. I was in front of the camera several times, so there is a good chance I'll be seen. I got to shake hands with Johnny Depp, too. Really nice guy. Off camera he was always cracking jokes and smiling. Stuck around to shake hands.

Well, it's late and I've got to get some sleep. Lots of unpacking to do tomorrow. I'll pop in again when I've got some time and I'll see if I can get Eric to make an appearance as well.
