A couple of years ago, I put out LinkSync. I figured it was time for another one. I normally do these as a learning exercise but I also wanted something that I could have the source to so I can tweak it.

Description:
OneSize is an application that will resize all images of type JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP and TIFF as a batch operation. A folder can consist of any variation of the image file types and OneSize will resize them all based on your absolute size or scale size settings.

Will this work if I just want to resize a single GIF?
I can't seem to do it (using Irfanview, Nero photosnap, or Windows Pic and fax viewer)... without animation freezing.

 

yes and no, it does batches and will completely foobar animated gif's. However, if that was the only file in the folder it will re-size only that file

I'm not going to add animation support for gif's to my image handling library.. I don't want anything to do with legal issues regarding the gif format and the patent's therein.

Downloaded this and keeps closing when I try to convert - get a standard windows error message saying it closed unexpectedly. Hmmmmz

 

Do you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed?

I managed to crash it right off the bat

Although I think its because I chose to save my resized photos to the same place where I pulled em from.

ok.. so no saving to the same place and make sure you don't use a scale or arbitrary size that has ZERO in it? GDI doesn't play well with 0 point sizes

because I needed that for the new pic resizing program.

If you know alot about making Image edititng software, you should make an Image Reshaping program. C# is great!!

Neato...I have been threatening to re-size all of our 400 and something wedding photos so their all the same size and not the 4"x4" that they are.
