    Hello,

Before I purchase a webcam, I want to know that it will work with my "Satellite" braodband connection. Is anyone out there well versed on "webcams" and whether or not they will work with a satellite connection? The main difference as I understand it is a 3 stage jump (from my computer to the satellite then it transfers from the satellite to the NOC which is the "network operating center" then it transfers to your destination. It's a bit slower than other broadband connectivity such as cable, or dsl. I used to have an older webcam and because it "froze" all the time, I took it off my system.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Back up...the download speed is measured in Kilobytes or Megabytes per second.

example: WildBlue Download speeds up to 1.5Mbps!
