Spell Check in Firefox 3 is Attrocious.

    No embarrassment here, because muskie's solution doesn't apply in my case. There are no other dictionaries, there is no language to select other than English. I did reinstall the English dictionary and that seemed to help some.

    Personally I think the majority of add-on spellcheckers are flawed in the size of their database of words, which is likely why we have to train them constantly in adding new words or correct spelling as in Colour and Color to their database... kinda doesnt help much if you cannot spell in the 1st place.. hence the need for a dictonary!!

    Bad spellers have been around a lot longer than the internet. You should be grateful for spellcheckers. :p

    I deal with about 400 acronyms a day at work; if I used a spellchecker, it would implode. ;)
