Second of all, Dawg-face you've been a disrepectful little snot since you got here! Even if you never said you were a kid, it was pretty obvious. Respect is earned, regardless of age, so don't preach to anyone here that you're not recieving what you've never shown.

Oh, and by the way, Dawg-boy...if you want someone's phone number you ASK for it. If they're interested, they'll give it to you. Getting a number because the clerk at the phone store used it to test your new phone and then calling them for a date is, well, creepy. And being grownups, they all know better than to do it anyway for just that reason.

Now as for zdog you got along way to go before you will get my respect but telling the truth is a start.

 

Ok. Now that we have all got it out of our system, we know how old zdawg is. We know he is a child, and we have said our piece.

Fact of the matter is, and I think we all lost sight of this, it is against the forum rules to bully or harass someone.

I agree with Wenchie when it comes to kids having cell phones. I know my kids won't have cell phones until they are at least into high school. Even then I'm going to do what my parents did to me and give them a prepaid phone that they have to pay for so they learn the responsibility and how much a phone costs... That is if I have kids...

Sadly, I do see many people nowadays who go over their text messages or anytime minutes and think its not a big deal when their parents yell at them because the family phone bill had an extra 75 dollars added onto it.

I think absolutely if a child earns it themself and buys it with their own money than absolutely they can have it. Here they have cricket so it's unlimited everything for like $50/mo

 

All my grandchildren have cells, it's a safety issue. There will never be a time they are in a situation where they are not in contact with their parents
