Gmail hiccups- Anyone else suffer a problem

It was reported last night in the news that Gmail was unavailable for some 90 mins.

Did anyone have issues? I had to log out and in to send mail this AM.

I remember when they were "testing" hotmail and deleted 2 million users one night. My friend was a MS temp and he was glad it was his night off!

Didn't have any problems, mind you I didn't get back in until midnight (UK time) - was using gmail then and it was fine. Hmmmz

 

No problems here... I was on and off most of the evening working on a few things. between, say 6 and 11pm Eastern Daylight Time.

No problems here but on this dialup sometimes i have problems getting into gmail for a while i could not get in like afew days unless i used the html version. This new version there using does not like my dialup its always saying connection problem so i just click at the top to use older version and then i have no problems at all.

 

Gmail for me has hiccups in it's relay to the notifier program and it's chat program. But i didn't have any problems with getting into mine. Of course... I'm not latched to it and I might not have tried.

Eric Schmidt is on Mad Money on CNBC right now, which I am watching at the moment, and he did make a comment about the Gmail flub up...and I quote him..."That was a mistake, we fixed it...we're not perfect"

He also said they WILL NOT split the stock, and they will not do any stock hand holding cause it only takes away from the more important task of efficiently and productively managing their buisness, which they see as more important than holding the stockholders hand...which I thought was very interesting.
