Why do you need a film? The events that happened on 9/11 really happened? What are you, a conspiracy theorist? Lol

 

I would assume that you were alive and could see and had access to a T.V. when 9/11 occurred, too many good people died because of some demented idealist's. Why some people need to see this death and destruction again & again & again & again adnaseum is beyond me, but what ever floats your boat Rack The mouse, just not from this dude

 

Assuming you're wanting something along conspiracy lines, there are none. There's lots out there, but all of them bend, ignore, edit, and tweak the "facts" to suit their paranoia.

Search the interent for the 911 documentary Loose Change. It's pretty good.

One good thing about that documentary is that it brings up a good point as to the towers falling down. They fell down as if imploding by demolition explosives. The towers should not have fallen down and if they did - which they never would have if it was just a fire in the building - they would have fallen to one side, not straight down.

PBS Frontline did a really great documentary, VERY well researched, on the towers, their structure and engineering, and what came apart, and how, about a year after the attack IIRC. Unfortunately it was a video documentary and is not available on the net.

 

I know of an excellant documentary by Jules and Gedeon Naudet. It is titled "9/11" and is narrated by Robert DeNiro. The brothers were filming a documentary of a rookie firefighter and they filmed the first plane hitting the tower, and inside the tower. It's as accurate and factual an account you will ever see or read about. It is extremely emotional documentary and is not censored.

 

The pancaking effect theory was done in a computer simulation without the steel frames running down the middle of the towers. The steel frames were left out of the computer simulation to make the pancaking theory plausable. If the towers did pancake somehow the steel frames would still be there sticking out into the air. The planes hit the towers above the halfway point of the buildings. The steel at the middle on downward would still have full strength and not crumble straight down.

I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I don't fully believe what the government has told us about 911 either.

It's just fun to debate things.

 

Funny how the Pentagon footage from nearby buildings was confiscated by the FBI and never showned clearly to the public, now that is what fuels conspiracy theorists.

The main supports in WTC were NOT solid steel, they were hollow box sections, about 1/4" thick at the top, and 3/4 to 1.5" thick at the bottom. Strong enough in normal load-bearing duty, but not nearly strong enough to stand up to the mass that came down on them. No, they wouldn't have survived, and no, they weren't left out of the studies to make them viable.

I've watched both documentaries, and local news stories covering implosion of large buildings. Fascinating. It's an art to make one come down clean. Hugely complex, wires running everywhere, and charges all over the place. Nobody has yet explained just how they could have wired and charged those huge and busy buildings in secret with nobody noticing. Would have taken many tons of explosives, miles of wiring, and a LOT of time and work. Bah.

 

I think Fahrenheit 9\11 is good ,more about political issues than the day in question,I also liked loosechange,total BS but entertaining after a few beers,screw loose change is just as good considering they are free

What happened on that day Terrorists hijacked some planes and flew them into buildings,people died,I'd be fun if there were a great conspiracy behind it but the simple fact is people cant keep secrets,the amount of people needed to set something up like that would be insane keeping them all quiet impossible,dya think you could round up enough people to plan and exectute mass murder and them keep thier mouths shut after knowing they've just killed thousands of people, the guilt alone would crack most people and then add on the need for many people to become famous it just isnt plausable in the least

Amen I saw it all on live TV and have watched every documentary showing the heroism ect.

The only twist hollywood can bring is to add corney melodrama,and casting nicholas cage IMO one of the most overrated actors in hollywood,he just oozes corn ,in gone in sixty seconds I literally have to look away from the screen hes so bad

I remember at the time saying to my dad they'll never make a film about it its too real,not for a few decades anyway "you'll see in a year or two a film will be made"

Ok here is were I stand, I did not vote for Kerry Or Bush and I am not a fulltime Bush basher. I wish he was not our are president at times, And I do know he likes to lie from time to time.maybe he has no choice. But if kerry was in office I would still want to know the truth.

I look at it this way. If I ask my kid how long he took my car out on a Saturday night and he says he only used it for one hour and yet I find tickets in the back seat to a Pink Floyd concert, and two sleeping bags? I may want to ask him again if maybe there is something he is not telling me.

And If my son tells me "What sleeping bags?" then I have no choice but to think he is not telling the truth and is covering up stuff. Am I as a parent to just say ok and go about my day? Or do I have a right to get to the truth, and what really took place?

If my son says he could not have been at the Pink Floyd show he was putting gas in my car at the time and I go to the Gas station were they have a camera that has a VHS tape of my son putting gas in my car and the CIA comes over and takes that film from them so I am not able to see it, would I not have more questions than answers?

But I went to a website called the Power Hour and they did have some good info, I will be back later to tell you what 9/11 movies I was able to get since I started this topic. had no idea the large amount of people that want answers also.

 

I'v watched some of the power hour productions,they pretty much bring up the points that all the other videos do which have now been disproven,they dwell on the pod theory which has know been confirmed as the undercarriage bulge,even many conspiracy sites stay away from the pod theory

I wouldnt judge or label you for your opinion,one thing I would say though when looking at these 'evidence of a conspiracy' is to not have an open mind,the reason conspiracy's work is because we want them to,its hard for us to accept in our dull drab live that life is just that dull and drab,if you hink whats more exciting for us as viewers or consumers of this information,that theres a massive conspiracy involving hundreds of thousands of people that goes all the way to the top or terrorists hijacked some planes and crashed them,we already know the latter so it would be pretty hard to sell and make some cash which is what these websites are there for

Where I am is terrorists crashed some planes and the Gov spun it to persaude people we need to invade countries,the real reason being oil,thats what the first gulf war was about and thats what this one is about

 

@ GT - Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I've been busy working all week and was too tired to go on the computer and post a response. I clicked on the link you posted and the slide shows were very well done. I still feel that it's a little suspicious that all three towers fell down the way they did, especially the small tower that fell down hours after the twin towers did. I don't beleive the conspiracy theories without question, I just don't beleive everything the government tells us. Conspiracy theories are fun to listen to. They are very entertaining.

I watched a video with a man named Barry Zwucker - I think that's what his name was - and it talked about oddities that happend that day. It's been awhile but I think the video was called something like, 911 The News Reports You Didn't See. It had some good stuff in it.

 

One coincidence I find really weird. When the planes flew into the towers, apparently they found Atta's passport on the ground afterwards. I read that. It may or may not be true.

Earlier this week, after Cory Lidle's plane crashed into a building in New York, his passport was found on the ground. I read that. It may or may not be true.

 

I just want to see something besides sex and bad comedies that seem to be on tv and at the movies these days.

Truth, I think if anyone should be able to revive an old thread it should be the original poster...

Speaking for myself, I think 911 was a atrocity and a tragidy made worse by our governments. We stand in danger of loosing the Afgan war because of misplaced priorities.

 

Sure they can. Maybe not everyone, but I've got some secrets I'm keeping as I type this.

 

Lets keep things in context:-DMy point is as you say "Maybe not everyone." Which is what the major conspiracy theories would need for them to be successful.

One thing that I notice especially with the 9/11 theories,as each point was debunked and the theories become more wild more and more people need to be in on the secret,first just a few high level people know then every government employee,fire fighter,policeman and even witnesses and victims are all "In on it."

They have even stretched for example to blaming the largest demolition company in America for using a controlled explosion and people have victimised their family without a single scrap of evidence against them,its nuts.

 

Yeah, I don't think that it could get by that many people very easily... but consider the case of Unit 731. Lots of people were in the know about that, but it was pretty much never mentioned, and even today most people have never even heard of it. Historians agree that it did happen, and almost everything written about them is, by and large, true.

Does that mean the government blew up the WTC? Highly doubtful. Are they telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Again, highly doubtful, as the government seems to take offense to the idea. I'm not saying they willfully destroyed those buildings, but there's always more that lies beneath. Maybe they knew about it and let it happen, because we, the American people, seem to relish war, and they know this. It keeps our gigantic, runaway, bloated military budget unchecked, and gives us something to unite under and hate. We seem to like that sort of thing, that's all. I don't think we've gone a decade since WWII without some sort of high profile international conflict. That's saying a lot about us.
