I did not do so well, I'm like 13 years beyond my actual age  :(

Do the questionnaire, they're not selling anything, good health maybe, and they do have books, but not part of the Q and A

While I'm waiting for the results, I think staying active is the best way to keep feeling young along with keeping one's brain active in any way possible. I've already beaten the odds, according to the 'experts', so it's all gravy from here on in!:-D

EDIT: I'm not too sure about this 'test' but they did ask the basic questions. Of course, I did not subscribe to any newsletter.;)

Meh, '+14.2'. Five years ago I would have done much better as I had quit smoking for ten years ATT and exercised regularly.

Did you start smoking again? If you don't mind me asking, is your chair a permanent thing?

They got mine at +17.2 mainly due to my meds and the fact i can not work out.

I have been slacking on exercising too, my downfall (lazy and antisocial) LOL

How are you coming along with your standing Bill, any better?
Yes your problem is upper and lower both huh? What about a tense unit to stimulate your muscles for you?

It's not good at the moment, i have had problems staying upright the nerves in my right leg are giving trouble and the leg just collapses under me.

Other than that i am fine and thanks for asking.

Ya, I started smoking again but I have now cut down to about 5 a day but I can't seem to get beyond that ATM.:mad I guess it's time to just bite the bullet and get the job done as I've been doing this for a couple of months now and staying with only 5 smokes a day is getting to be a real pain to keep up!

As to the chair, I've been trying to lose weight as I'm quite overweight though I can still get around on my legs, though barely. I really should slow down on the beer as I don't overeat, as Julia Child always said, moderation.;)

I'm like BillMCC, I'm not supposed to exercise except lightly due to my meds, but I'm seriously considering throwing the med advisories away and doing some real exercising, even if it is just with my arms. If I lost a 100 lbs., I'd be dancing again!:-D

@ augie, when I was first diagnosed with emphysema and it was strongly suggested I quit smoking, I turned down medications to help, some were scarier then the cigarettes.
After a bit I went to the Dr. and told him I had quit, "yeah I'm down to about 2 or so a day", I told him, I actually believed I had quit. (duh)
It became easier the less I was able to breath. :-D

PS - you did see the recommendations they have for each individual didn't you, not just the age part?

I like the doctors on the site, seen them on Tv a few times. They are more into diet and lifestyles rather then pumping people full of meds. Not that some are not needed, of course they are but a lot can be turned around.
There were people on there who were steps away from heart surgery, diabetic so forth and turned their health around with their help.

Waiting for my results now. Still not smoking, but lack of exercise is probably going to hurt me some, but I am very active for not having a regular exercise program, so I guess it's really a crapshoot as to whether or not you are in good shape. I am doing OK weight-wise, but I know that I have a few more pounds to drop before I am happy with my weight.

Will have to pop back in and post the results when they come back.
