Hello, so I'm just wondering if there is a linux live distro that allows you to pop the CD out and use the CD drive?

My situation: I'm running Windows Vista, and for some reason it's not reading data on CD-Rs (although it reads DVD-Rs fine). I have two CD-Rs that I need to recover data from. I can't boot from USB due to my BIOS settings (and forgotten BIOS supervisor password).

    Please help!

If you get a 8.04 Ubuntu disk, you get Wubi
