My new greencard came in the mail today! I am now officially a real permanent resident of the United States. No conditions on the card at all, and it is valid until August of 2018.

I had my biometrics for my citizenship at the beginning of this month. Hopefully get my test and interview soon. But meanwhile I am learning to speak and write English

 

What kind of biometrics do they do? Retina scans?
