Me being a car guy i am waiting to see what they do with this one. The past ones were pretty good tho there would be afew things that i would of done different like the "Got to go faster so there must be another gear" view that they like to use. ;)

I hope they use this one to end the series. I would hate to see it dragged out and beaten to death.rolleyes

Thought films F&F and 2F2F, where good, F&F was superb and Vin Diesel* and Paul Walker played great opposites, 2F2F was ok, ( watched more due to Devon Aoki ) but Tokyo Drift was appallingly bad!

So hope that as its touted Justin Lin is director again, he makes a better hash of it this time, would have been better with the original Dir in Rob Cohen.

*seems to be all the rage for films of late is Vin

Best F&F movie by far was Tokyo Drift. IMO, of course.

    I hated the others.

I am interested to see where this goes too. They got most of the cast back and the trailer looks really impressive actually, it was really well done action. Just the sole fact that they've returned the cast from 1 means that the script had to be halfway decent.

I think they went downhill in order they were released tbh. First wasn't bad, got worse from there.

I'm glad to see the trailer for the new one looks like it's going back to the original first one, and implements the good ol' mustang again!

I actually agree with this. the downward progression from 1-3 was painful to watch. In fact, I didn't even see the 3rd one.:p

The first one was painful enough with that 7 speed Eclipse ;)

Oh i would die if i had the Charger from the movie. That thing looked sweet. Oh i wonder how it would of looked if it was the SuperBird/Charger Daytona Or even the B-Body.

I saw some actual tests in a car mag. The only legit car that wasn't a all show no go, was the Charger.

As for the second movie, most of the cars were tired and worn out pieces of junk. Accept once again, the American muscle cars.

The third movie that everyone loves to hate is where the truly suped up cars were at, and the drifting was real.

You ever watched Muscle car on Spike tv? The Challenger was just dressed up sure it was the real thing but it was poorly restored just to look good for the cam. When the guys on Muscle car got ahold of one of the Challengers it was a Rust bucket.

    I didn't know that.

Maybe I am confusing it with the ones from the second movie.

No i thought you was talking about the second movie. Thats what i was talking about the one with the Challenger.

This is what i was talking about

    Hmmm.

Conflicting reports I suppose. The mag I read showed the 2F2F muscle cars to be the only real thing, except they still weren't as fast as they were portrayed.

In fact, it was funny; they were talking about how the plexiglass hood on that tired Supra (something like over 100k miles and worn out) melted once the engine heated up roflmao.

Totally agree that the cars from Tokyo Drift where great in the RX7 & RX8 Turbo, Evo IX, 350Z and definatly the Skyline powered Mustang, BUT and a big BUTT is that its plot/story was lame as hell.

Agreed Jeremy on that fact on the cars used dont seem to be at their full power, had to laugh with even with NOS a few of the cars had less of a top speed than my car.... maybe they hit 0-60 quicker tho, but its always the top end speed the camera fixes on.

Drifting I can go see most months with Japanese cars here in the flesh.
