Help me find out mobo of this PC?

Hello everyone.

This might be a little bit of a tricky one, but here goes. I thought I might was well try and ask!

A colleague of mine has a Tiny computer (the brand, not the size!) All I know about it is that it arrived with Windows XP, and XP was impressively new when this PC was bought. It has an AMD Athlon (+m) XP2000+ in it at 1.67 GHz and 224 mb of RAM.

Is there any way of discovering the motherboard or compatible RAM this computer has/will need with only the above information?

If anyone knows offhand it would be fantastic. Thanks for reading.

You can also go to crucial.com and they have a program to find out what is compatible with your system. Of course, you don't have to buy their product.

 

I agree with this. Another option is to open the "run" box and type dxdiag. But Everest is arguably the most powerful tool you will ever have in your toolbox. It will allow for temp/volt/fan rpms monitoring and hosts many other features. If you want look in the system summary and post back the motherboard make and model and advice may be provided.
