    Hi! :)

I followed ALL the instructions listed on READ & RUN ME but I still have FlashGuard folder in my Program Files :( Plus, when I tried running Combofix the second time, both times Avira Anti-Virus picked up a virus which says that is it attached to Combofix. Can't remember what it is but it starts with an 'E'.

Would REALLYx1000000 appreciate ur help on this.

    Thanks! :):)

P/S : Tried to attach MGTools log but can't access it.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

As far as I know this is not malware. Did you install it? Do you want it? If not then uninstall it and delete the folder. See: http://wareseeker.com/Video/flash-guard-1.0.0.5.zip/446912

False positive. The instructions did say to terminate all protection software too.

I'm not sure exactly what this means. Do you mean you cannot find it? It is where the procedure stated. Normally C:\MGlogs.zip. You need to attach ALL 4 logs from the READ & RUN ME if you need help but if your only issue is FlashGuard then it is probably just something you installed and can remove yourself.

No, actually...I did not install it but will remove it. Thanks!

Yes that was my bad. It was getting really late and brain was only working at 30% :p so forgot to close Anti-virus

Opps! Sorry! Yes, I meant C:\MGlogs.zip. Tried to attach it but something is preventing my attachments. I will try later once I am home.

AND also, the dot prompt on my laptop keeps jumping to other lines/boxes after typing a few words and it is very annoying.

Is there anyway to solve this?

    Thanks a bunch!

I don't know what you mean by "dot prompt". I you referring to something that is happening when using a specific program?

Unless you attach the logs from the READ & RUN ME, there is nothing more we can do for you here. None of what you have posted thus far sounds like malware but the only way we will know for sure is by seeing ALL of the logs.
