Safe Haven - A Sci-Fi Novel

    Hi,

    Besides being a linux fan, I'm also a Christian sci-fi writer, and someone suggested I post some of my work.

    This novel is called Safe Haven. It's still really really rough, but I think the prologue and chapter 1 are polished up enough for reading.

    So I hope you enjoy it.

    P.S. What is up with .rtf files not being a valid attachment? Oh well, OOWriter let's me export it to .pdf :D

    Cool. Glad you posted. I'm headed out to dinner (away from my kids for the night..woohoo) with some girlfriends, but I'll check it out later tonight or tomorrow.

    Hmm, Christian Sci-Fi. That's quite a weird premise to me as I'm a sci-fi nut since I was 12. I must have read some 500 novels plus short stories etc. along with tons of fantasy and must have read about as many 'religious' belief systems!. I'll read what you have posted tomorrow, just to have a fresh outlook on things.;)

    Strange that you posted it here, being mainly a tech forum.:confused I'll forgive you since you're a *nix freak.:-D (not that I'm one).;)

    Well if somebody suggests I share some of my work, I'm not going to say "No"! If anybody does want to read more, just PM me. I'm not going to flood a geek site with chapters from a sci-fi novel.

    She had a nix question, augie, and had posted in the welcome forum. I suggested she post part of her book. ;)

    ....still haven't read any since I just got home and had a martini and a glass of wine. ::still fuzzy and needing to head to bed:: :-D
